Midwest Photo Safari #9 - Pella, Iowa - Bridges of Madison County Special Photo Safari

Our Saturday and Sunday Fall 2013 Tour

 Minimum participation will be 4 for each tour, and maximum will be 10 (using 2 vans).

 

Our Iowa Safari begins early in the morning in Minneapolis at a to-be-selected location. There we board our vans and travel to Pella, Iowa about an hour east of Des Moines. In Pella we begin with a short presentation on  photographic composition and basic digital camera operation, then move on to photograph selected sites in this quaint Dutch town. Pella has a variety of great restaurants, participants will be on their own to choose lunch. That evening, we will travel to our hotel in DesMoines. After check in,  MPS will provide dinner and later sit down to view and discuss our photos from the day shooting as well as plan the Bridges of Madison County Shoot

On Sunday morning after a quick breakfast, we travel west to Madison County and photograph the 6 famous covered bridges there as well as several other selected sites. MPS will provide box lunch on this safari. After our photo session, we will discuss and critique the days shooting. We wrap the tour up around 2 PM, and head back to the Twin Cities.

Van Transportation from Minneapolis to Des Moines will be provided. You will be given full details in your itinerary/confirmation. Hotel, all meals, and Van transportation during the safari provided by MPS. The Safari includes all admission charges to the areas we will visit.

Pricing for this Safari is $589.00 + tax per person based on single occupancy, the double rate will be $569.00 + tax per person. The tour includes a printed "Basic Digital Photography Tips and Techniques" booklet filled with handy hints and tips that will help you improve the way you visualize your photography.
