Midwest Photo Safari #8 Minnesota North Shore Spring 2013 Special Photo Safari

Saturday June 8th, 2013

Our North Shore Safari begins at 7 AM sharp at The Lake Superior Maritime Museum next to the world famous Duluth lift bridge.  We begin with a short presentation on  photographic composition and basic digital camera operation, then move on to photograph Canal Park and the Downtown Lakewalk.  Duluth Lift Bridge
Gooseberry Falls From Duluth we will board a comfortable van and travel north to Gooseberry Falls State Park. We will take a quick lunch break in Two Harbors before getting to the park. At the falls we will do a photo walk and practice many aspects of creative photography techniques.
After completing our tour of Gooseberry Falls, we  travel further north to Split Rock State Park. There we photograph one of the most famous landmarks in Minnesota. After our photo session, we will discuss and critique the days shooting. We wrap the tour up around 4PM, and head back to Canal Park. Arrival time to the Maritime Museum is approximately 5PM. Transportation to Duluth is the responsibility of the participant. You will be given a meeting point in your itinerary/confirmation. Van transportation during the safari provided by MPS. The lunch meal will the participants responsibility. The Safari price includes all admission charges to the areas we will visit.

Pricing for this Safari is $169.00 + tax per person. The tour includes a printed "Basic Digital Photography Tips and Techniques" booklet filled with handy hints and tips that will help you improve the way you visualize your photography.
